В процесі експлуатації експериментальної РАС ми зіштовхнулися із проблею великої кількості відходів життєдіяльності при вирощуванні кларієвого сома при щільних посадках (більше 300 кг на 1000 літрів). Продуктивність роботи барабанних фільтрів серії Ecodrum проектується із розрахунку 10 мг/літр твердих відходів (TSS – загальна кількість осаджених твердих речовин).
