For the first time in Ukraine, we present a modular farm for raising trout. The very first project is called “Trout-30”, which makes it possible to grow delicious trout in the amount of 30,000 kg per year.
There is an opinion that raising trout is a very difficult task. This requires special conditions (pure spring water), special temperature and oxygen conditions, and special feed. In order to grow king trout fish, you need a huge amount of water, and in our country this is only possible in mountainous areas, where the water flows by gravity into special ponds for cultivation. Those. conditions are initially not very suitable for any person who decides to start raising trout. The farmer is initially tied to the choice of site for the production of this nutritious and valuable fish. And such plots cost a lot of money, especially in mountainous areas.
But it turns out that there is a way out: this is a modular open installation (RAS) for growing trout. The Trout-30 project gives you the opportunity to grow commercial trout almost anywhere where there is a certain amount of groundwater. To grow 30 tons of trout per year according to our project, you will need from 3 to 5 l/s of water.
The module consists of three pools 2.5 m by 15 m, a drum filter, a biofilter, a chamber for degassing and aeration, a main pump, additional pumps for oxygenation of water.

For growing table fish (250-300 grams) we offer 20 gram fry. The growing period is 120-140 days depending on the water temperature.
With proper management, this project makes it possible to increase the number of farmed fish up to 40 tons per year.
The cost of implementing this turnkey project is 200,000 Euro (excluding land work), which includes construction work, materials, equipment, installation, startup, etc.
For the installation of additional equipment (compressor, oxygen generator and etc.) you will need one 40-foot container. The area of the growing area is 400 sq.m. Plus, it is necessary to drain the water.
This project is ideal for small family restaurants and cafes, where you can sell farmed fish at a good margin, which can significantly increase the level of profitability (up to 60%).
